Koskol! There is no traffic noise here

Koskol! There is no traffic noise here

Every man has his own Motherland. It`s the place, where a man was born. May be this place is usual and uninteresting for other people, but for you it is the dearest place in the world. There is no place like home. No need to roam the world in the search of the most beautiful place. You should turn around. It`s your native home place, the land, where you were born, whose beauty you imbibed with your mother`s milk. A village is a quiet, peaceful place outside the city, which is a perfect place for rest. One of such place is my native village.
My native village is situated in Ulytausky District and it’s called Koskol. The history of my village began in the 18th century, when the people began to settle on the left bank of the Karakum , so the first name of the village was derived from the name of this black sand. Later the village was renamed in Koskol. Its population is slightly over 100 family. People live in one-storey houses. There is a school, and a hospital in my village. There is also a shop. We can buy all we need there.
There is a river ‘Djingildi ozek’ nearby. It is very beautiful and big. We like to go for a walk there. And often we have a picnic in the forest. I like pleasant smell of leaves and flowers. We can spend all day long swimming and playing in summer. But last summer it was very hot and our river almost disappeared. In winter we like to ski. There are always a lot of snow in our village. It is very difficult to overcome all the snow hills in the streets! Even if Koskol is small and there are little things we can do, I like my village very much. I think my village is famous not only for its beauty but also for its people. If you come to my village you'll find people there warm and friendly. Most people are hard-working and optimistic. So my native village is a nice place to live in. The life there is quiet and peaceful. There's hardly any violence there. The people of my village are very hospitable, they are always glad to meet the guests. We have many interesting traditions, such as: Festivals of folk and children`s song, we celebrate the Day of the Village, Farewell Winter Festival and the Day of old people. This place is for those people who are looking for peace and a lovely rural environment. There is no traffic noise here. So, if you want to walk on a carpet of meadows and flowers or climb the hills covered with thick woods or fish in our ponds or drink the crystal clear water, Koskol is just this place, which you must visit!
Welcome to our village!
